Our Sisters in the Brotherhood make history with every swing of their hammer, building our communities one nail at a time. During Women’s History Month and Women in Construction Week (March 2-8, 2025), we especially recognize their achievements.
Council-wide committees like Sisters in the Brotherhood (SIB) and the BOOTS Pre-Apprenticeship program offer essential training, resources, and support for women in the industry.
Women in Construction Week highlights the contributions of women in trades, advancements in Union membership, pay equality, and worker protections. All aspects which are opening doors for women to succeed in the construction world. As we celebrate, we look forward to a future of continued progress and opportunity for women in construction.
