San Diego Regional Planning Agency Signs 40-Year CBA
The San Diego Regional Planning Agency (SANDAG) has signed a 40-year CBA (Community Benefits Agreement) worth $160 billion. The CBA is entity-wide through the Agency. This is going to bring thousands of Union Carpenter jobs to America’s Finest City.
The Mid-Coast Trolley Extension has been a large project with SANDAG that Local 619 Union Carpenters have been working on. This new CBA will continue to bring transit-focused infrastructure work to the area. Infrastructure jobs are good jobs for Union Carpenters because it allows them to work on a single project for a longer length of time.
