Local 714 held a graduation ceremony for all their members who Journeyed Out this year. More than 60 members received certificates. EST Langford, President Rodriguez, and Executive Director of Southwest Carpenters Training Fund Louis Ontiveros gave commencement speeches and handed the graduates their certificates.
Family and friends of the graduates gathered at Local 714 for the event. This ceremony recognizes the hard work and the dedication of these Apprentices-turned-Journeyman as they complete 4+ years of training and education.
Both the EST and the President encouraged the Journeyman to continue to strive for more in their careers. They noted that being a Superintendent, Foreman, Project Manager, and Contractor are next in the rungs on the ladder they’re climbing. Congratulations to Local 714 Class of 2021!
