UBC General President Doug McCarron announced the appointment of SWRCC EST Dan Langford to Western District Vice President of the UBC.
Mr. Langford has served as EST of the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters for more than three years. Dan served as Delegate, Trustee, Vice President, and President at Local 209. At the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, he has served as Trustee, Board Member, President and Executive Secretary-Treasurer. As EST, Dan placed the SWRCC on a path that will ensure efficiency, financial responsibility, and long-term stability.
In his announcement to the membership Dan said, “I wanted to take a minute to thank everybody and let everybody know what an honor it has been to serve this Council as EST. Although I’m going on to a new position, my heart will always be here.”
