Local 213 Representative Delshawn McClellon wanted his son to go to college. Although he secretly hoped his son would follow in his footsteps to the Trade, he wanted him to finish college first; something he was not able to do.
Delshawn McClellon Jr., went to college and played football, and played it well. He was drafted to the NFL after graduation and entered Training Camp. He wasn’t picked up by the NFL, but he found a new career as a Union Carpenter which is turning out to be just as rewarding.
