Union Carpenter Volunteers, SLO County Supervisor Paulding, and Mayor Russom Give Back to the Arroyo Grande Community.
Local 805 Union Carpenters were ready to answer Mayor Caren Ray Russom and the Arroyo Grande Recreation Services’ call when asked to perform a few minor repairs to the historic Heritage Park Rotary Bandstand.
Joined by San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Jimmy Paulding, they replaced rotted wood, caulked, and prepped the project for new paint in time for the summer. This is especially important as the facility is used throughout the year for community events, including the upcoming 4th of July Summer Concert Series.
