HELPING DISADVANTAGED ANGELENOS BECOME CARPENTERS

Brothers’ Keeper Instructor Wesley Crunk was interviewed on KABC-TV Los Angeles

The Brothers’ Keeper program held an Open Call for students on March 20th. More than 50 would-be Carpenters took part in the Boot Camp where participants were surveyed.

Brothers’ Keeper is a 3-week Pre-Apprenticeship program by the Southwest Carpenters Training Fund. The program helps disadvantaged people in Los Angeles become Union Carpenters.

The Open Call Boot Camp featured 11 skill-testing stations including material carrying, hammering, and agility exercises.
