District Attorney George Gascon Tours The Buena Park Training Center
Los Angeles County District Attorney, George Gascon, toured the Southwest Carpenters Training Center in Buena Park to learn about the Apprenticeship training program.
Gascon was joined by EST Langford and President Rodriguez on the tour and they gave him an overview of the training and classes offered in the Apprenticeship. Gascon was also informed about the LA-based Brothers Keeper and BOOTs programs as examples of Pre-Apprenticeship opportunities for formerly incarcerated men and women.
Brothers Keeper and BOOTS are programs that offer strong examples of career opportunities after prison. The District Attorney is interested in exploring options for convicted offenders other an imprisonment.
