Carpentry is in Local 1912’s Marco Calderon’s blood. As a third-generation Union Carpenter, Marco had always known what the Union had to offer. He saw it with his dad who is a foreman and with his grandfather who was a career drywall hanger. Marco knew he had big shoes to fill. So, when he was ready to take the plunge, he strapped on his bags knowing he’d have to come in hot!
Marco knows the Calderon name certainly precedes him. Growing up in his Dad’s and Grandad’s shadow he knows what to expect and he knows that he can count on the good Union benefits that he has had his whole life. He also knows that with everything he builds, he is blazing a new path. One that is undoubtedly his own.
