WSRCC is proud to participate in the 10th annual National Apprenticeship Week. The U.S. Department of Labor established the weeklong event to recognize and celebrate registered apprenticeship programs across all trades and all states. Over the past ten years, the number of active apprentices nationally has nearly doubled.
Trade apprenticeships excel in ensuring workplace equity by giving excellent Union career opportunities to those with varying backgrounds. Whether one is a recent high school graduate, someone formerly incarcerated and looking to turn their life around, or a seasoned worker changing their profession, the WSRCC Apprenticeship program offers great opportunities to earn a living wage and benefits throughout the training process and beyond. If you are interested in beginning your career as a WSRCC Apprentice, visit the Western States Carpenters Training Fund for more resources.
