Retired Local 555 Union Carpenter, Eileen Marie, was interviewed on The Kelly Clarkson Show as part of the episode’s #Obsessed segment.
Eileen spoke to Kelly Clarkson about what inspired her to get into construction, what it was like being a woman in a male-dominated field, and advice she’d give to people entering carpentry.
Eileen worked as a Union Carpenter for almost 30 years before she retired. She actively works as a “Local 555 Ambassador” to female members seeking her advice on how to have a successful career as a Union Carpenter.
