Welcoming the SWMSRCC: Southwest Mountain States Regional Council of Carpenters
The name may have changed but the Union remains the same, and we are ready to build better jobs, wages, and benefits for Union Carpenters across ten states! With over 63,000 members the SWMSRCC is the largest council united under one name. Together, we will strive to strengthen our communities one project at a time from the Canadian to the Mexican border.
Tradeswomen Build Nations Las Vegas Takeover
Carpenters from all corners of the SWMSRCC met in Las Vegas for the Tradeswomen Build Nations NABTU Conference this weekend. Congratulations to Local 213 Sister, Lilia Huerta, who was named the winner of the W.I.N.T.E.R. Tradeswomen of the Year award. Over 3,000 tradeswomen joined the parade procession through the Las Vegas Strip.
