Woodburn Fiesta Mexicana
Portland Locals 503 and Local 541 will be participating in the 59th annual Woodburn Fiesta Mexicana August 18th-20th. The much-anticipated annual event hosts culturally themed vendors, food, music, and entertainment the event celebrates the regional harvest, acknowledging the large contingent of farm workers in the area, many of whom were from Mexico or Central America. Many Woodburn’s residents today or Latino and one of the main festival attractions is the cuisine from regions across Mexico- so much in fact, many Oregonians travel to attend.
