Local 619 Car Wash Fundraiser
Rain or shine Carpenters showed up for their fellow Brother Xavier Segi in his time of need. Brother Segi welcomed a baby boy in 2022 who was born with a rare heart condition and has multiple open-heart surgeries. Brother Segi has been out of work and will be for the foreseeable future to support his wife and young son. The Women’s Auxiliary 1904 hosted a bake sake and Local 619 Carpenters came out on a rainy day to wash and vacuum cars. Local 714 Rare Disease Awareness
Today, February 28th at the Buena Park training center the Young Guns committee is holding a light up the night event in honor or Rare Disease Awareness month. This causes hits close to home, as one our Local 714 Brothers, Josue Nogales, lost his young daughter to a rare disease. Rare diseases affect one in ten Americans. Show your solidarity and join Local 714 in lighting up the night in honor of those affected by rare diseases tonight from 4pm to 6pm.
