Giving a warm welcome to our incoming Journeymen Carpenters! This graduation marks the culminations of four years of dedication to our Union and commitment to honing their skills through extensive training. With their families by their side to cheer them these Journeymen walked off the stage ready to build better cities, communities, and careers. Congratulations our Local 661 graduates!

Brothers’ Keeper 2023 Bootcamp

Local 323 hosted the first Brothers’ Keeper Bootcamp of the year. This event was a resounding success, with over 130 hopefuls in attendance, 90 of which participated in the one-day bootcamp. The participants tested their construction abilities on various skills stations which covered the basics such as material handling, hammering, and even an interview station where program leaders learned more about participants motivation for joining the construction industry. A total of 30 participants will be selected to go through the 4-week Brothers’ Keeper pre-apprenticeship program where they will gain knowledge to prepare them for their careers as Union Carpenters.
