On June 19th we commemorate Juneteenth with our African American Brothers and Sisters! Honoring a significant holiday that carries deep historical and cultural significance, serving as a reminder of the struggles and resilience of those who fought for their rights and dignity. We are proud of the work of Union Carpenters of Local 971, Local 1977, and Local 323 for participating in Juneteenth Festivals in their community. Let’s continue to uplift, educate, and support our Brothers and Sisters today and everyday.
On Saturday, Millwrights, their families, and friends came out to Local 1607’s pin ceremony and picnic. Close to 200 people enjoyed a beautiful day in Long Beach POA park listening to music, eating good food, and catching up with old friends as they celebrated our milestone members and their accomplishments.

It’s time for Dodger Baseball! On June 24th the SWMSRCC is heading to Dodger Stadium, bring your family and join your fellow Carpenters at the Dodgers game! Our very own VP Sean Hartranft will be throwing out the first pitch! Let’s show out to see the Dodgers play against the Houston Astros. Questions? Please reach out to your Local for details and to purchase tickets.
