Career Connections Student Orientation

Hundreds of students and their families joined Career Connections for their Build Better Careers orientation meeting on Saturday. Upperclassmen and parents had the opportunity to learn more about trade and the great opportunities that are available through a career as a Union Carpenter. They we also able to speak with signatory contractors and partake in various skills stations for hand-on experience. While enrollment in public two- and four-year colleges has decreased, enrollment in the construction trades continues to grow. There’s never been a better time to attain a career in construction with good union wages, benefits, and no college debt.
