Talking Infrastructure with California Senator Alex Padilla

The SWRCC has recently launched a Build Better campaign that advocates for President Biden’s Infrastructure Bill.  EST Langford, President Rodriguez, along with 213 member, Jaime Almaguer, met with Senator Padilla over Zoom to talk about Southern California’s needs for infrastructure building and improvements. In a very poignant moment during the meeting, member, Jaime Almaguer, spoke directly to Senator Padilla in Spanish about the importance of the Infrastructure Bill and how it’s passing can benefit he and his family.

BOSS Committee Goes Social

A new Facebook Group has been created for the BOSS Committee. The Group is open to all members who are looking for mental health resources in their area, need some help with a problem, or just looking for a fellow member to talk with. Although we are not mental health professionals, members of the BOSS Committee can lead you in the direction of getting the help you need.

New Riverside Training Center and Local 951 Opening Soon

Local 951 members and their families were invited to come and preview the new Local office and Training Center in Riverside. They were able to tour the training floor, classrooms, and view the impressive collection of new photography hanging throughout the property. There is even a replica of the Riverside Raincross Bell on the training floor; apprentices will ring the bell when they Journey Out.
