Local 951 Hosts CUPP Appreciation Day
Local 951 Carpenters in Riverside, California hosted CUPP Appreciation Day at Lake Perris! Members with 24+ CUPP hours were invited to a day full of family fun with food, games, raffles and much more to recognize all the extra time and energy they put into their communities. EST Pete Rodriguez was also on site to share the festivities. Our CUPP Champions had a great time celebrating!
Carpenters Return to Sacramento to Rally for AB2011
Our Carpenters are back in Sacramento again to rally for AB2011, the affordable housing and jobs bill that provides a win-win for California. They were joined by EST Pete Rodriguez, Assemblymember and author of AB2011 Buffy Wicks and Speaker of the California State Assembly Anthony Rendon. After multiple successes, including passing through the Senate Housing and Finance Committee’s, AB2011 heads to the Senate Appropriations Committee today. Today’s meeting is a review of AB2011’s fiscal impact. Southwest Mountain States Carpenters, alongside our Northern California Brothers and Sisters, are proud to stand in full support of AB2011. Carpenters Night at Angels Stadium
On Saturday, our Southern California Brothers and Sisters packed Angel’s Stadium with family and friends to watch the Angels play versus the Texas Rangers. Before the game, Carpenters pitched tents and hosted a tailgate with great food for everyone. Carpenter Night was an amazing family event and a huge success! See you next year!
