Vaccination Drive in Orange County:
Local 714 hosted a Vaccination Drive over the weekend. First, Second, and Booster doses of Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson were made available to members and their families. More than 20 people showed up to receive vaccinations – the majority received boosters.
Local 805 To Receive Commendation:
The city of Santa Paula’s Parks and Recreation Department will be recognizing Local 805 this week for their volunteer work restoring the Caretaker’s House at Harding Park. Volunteer Union Carpenters have spent almost a year restoring the home on the Harding Park Little League field to have it ready for the start of baseball season. The Parks and Recreation Commission will be recognizing Local 805 at their scheduled meeting this Thursday at Santa Paula City Hall.
