VP Kamala Harris Visits the ITC
Vice President Kamala Harris stopped by the ITC in Las Vegas during her “America Back Together” tour. The Vice President spoke to more than 300 Carpenters about infrastructure plans the Biden/Harris Administration is working on, and how their plans can translate to Carpenter jobs.

Carpenter Vaccination Day
The Southwest Carpenters Training Center in Whittier will host a Carpenter Vaccination Day on Saturday, July 10th. California Assemblymember Lisa Calderon of the 57th District will be on-hand to kick off the vaccination drive.
Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh To Tour New Riverside Training Center
Secretary of Labor, Marty Walsh, will tour the new Southwest Carpenters Training Center in Riverside this week. The SWRCC recently opened both the Training Center and Local 951 in Riverside. Secretary Walsh will be shown the various crafts and specialties taught at the Training Center during a tour given by SWRCC leadership.
