A Celebration of Phoenix Infrastructure

The second phase of Phoenix’s light rail extension was celebrated with Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, Senator Mark Kelly, and Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallegos.  The elected officials gathered with SWMSRCC Regional Manager and Local 1912 President Fabian Sandez to laud Valley Metro’s sign off on the project.  With the bipartisan Infrastructure Bill now law, Valley Metro hopes that money from the bill will further fund the project.  KSAZ Fox 10 covered the event.
