Here is the SWMSRCC Top Three for the week of October 25th.

WAs Participate in “Make Strides Against Breast Cancer” Annual Walk 

70+ Women Auxiliary members and their families participated in the annual “Make Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk in Santa Monica. WAs 001, 007, 417, 710 and 101 joined together to rally behind this important cause. Through their hard work and dedication, the WAs were able to donate over $2,800 to the fight against breast cancer. This is in addition to all of the fundraising efforts WAs have been hosting throughout the Southwest for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs Visits Local 1912 

Last week, Secretary Katie Hobbs joined Local 1912 for their monthly meeting. When speaking to the membership, Sec. Hobbs was vocal about her support for jobs, wages, and benefits.

“When I’m Governor, I will stand with labor so that AZ workers get the pay, benefits, and job safety that they deserve.”
