Local 721 Member Appreciation Day:
Local 721 hosted a Member Appreciation Day in Long Beach. More than 300 members and their families showed up to eat some good food, fellowship, and win some really great prizes including TVs, BBQs, tools, and more. Kids activities, including an inflatable slide, were on-hand to entertain the little ones.
Long Beach Trades Day:
This Thursday is the Construction Industry Education Foundation’s Trades Day at Long Beach City College. Trades Day introduces high school youth to industry career opportunities in construction, design, sub-contracting, heavy equipment, engineering, and other skilled trades. Southwest Mountain States Carpenters is a lead sponsor of the event.
Carpenter GOTV Rally:
Union Carpenters and their families will gather this Saturday in Los Angeles to support those that support us. The Carpenter GOTV Rally will kick election season to high gear as Congresswoman Karen Bass will kick the event off:
