Local 909 Journeyman Graduation:
Local 909 was the next Local in the Southwest to graduate their class of Journeyman. More than 50 Journeyman received certificates from EST Rodriguez during the ceremony. The Valedictorian was Union Carpenter Joshua Reyes. We look forward to seeing what comes next with this new class of Local 909 Journeyman.
Local 721 and 562 Heavy Hitters:
Locals 721 and 562 held a meeting of the Heavy Hitters Club to talk Jobs, Wages, and Benefits at the Whittier Training Center. More than 40 members took part in the meeting where they discussed Carpenter Economics, life on and off the jobsite, and ways to make the SWMSRCC even stronger.
The Retiree Club Hits the Casino:
Member of the Retiree Club and honorary Local 108 visited the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, CA for a day of food and gambling. Buses picked up members at Local 714 and Local 951 on their way to the resort. This event is one of many activities for our retirees that take place across the Southwest.
