WA – Celebrate signing of HB 1821
Last week, Washington Union Carpenters joined elected officials, including Representative Mary Fosse, at the State Capitol in Olympia to celebrate the passage of HB 1821. House Bill 1821 helps ensure a level playing field for contractors and provides stronger tools to hold bad actors accountable. We would like to acknowledge the late Senator Bill Ramos, a long-time supporter of WSRCC, who co-sponsored the bill and played a key role in its passage in the Senate. This is a win for workers across the state.
AZ- Local 1912 hosts Re-election Kick-off for Adrian Fontes
This past Saturday, Arizona Union Carpenters hosted Adrian Fontes, Secretary of State, as he kicked off his re-election campaign. Fontes was welcomed at Local 1912 by a crowd of over two dozen Union Carpenters and constituents. We welcome elected officials like Secretary of State Fontes, who support Unions and understand the importance of standing in solidarity with the working class.
