Anchorage Training Center – Groundbreaking Ceremony  

The Western States Carpenters Training Fund is constructing a new facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Last Wednesday afternoon, over 100 people attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new training center, including House Representatives Donna Mears, Calvin Schrage, and Ted Eischeid, Anchorage Assembly member Yarrow Silvers, Anchorage Mayor Suzanne LaFrance, and other elected officials. The 30,000-square-foot facility will help support training initiatives for the next generation of Union Carpenters. Watch the news clip here.

Groundbreaking Event 

Local 1977 Carpenters were delighted to attend the groundbreaking event for the new Athletics stadium in Las Vegas.

The Local 1977 Carpenters attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Athletics (A’s) stadium last week and were interviewed by Telemundo News Las Vegas. The Oakland team is set to relocate to Las Vegas once the $1.75 billion stadium is built and open to the public, which is expected to happen in 2028. The project will provide roughly three years of work for Union Carpenters, a real home run for Local 1977! Watch the news clip here.  

CSAC Benefits Update  

Have you received your HRA Western States Carpenters card yet?  If not, keep an eye on your mailbox – your Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) debit card is arriving soon! Your HRA card will be active and ready for use starting this week on July 1st!  If you have questions about your HRA account, contact the Harrison Group at 855-222-5727
