UNION BUILT: HEWLETT PACKARD RESEARCH CENTER

Hewlett Packard’s newest development is under construction in Vancouver, Washington.

A new Hewlett Packard (HP) research facility is under construction in Vancouver, Washington. This long-term growth development includes 235,000 square feet of laboratory and office spaces. The facility’s design incorporates sustainability by leveraging mass timber, a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and locally sourced building material. Mass timber has a significantly lower carbon impact than alternative construction materials and offers added safety, being fireresistant and better equipped to withstand seismic activity. While construction continues throughout most of 2025, the facility is slated to open in 2026.
