The D Line extension will expand LA Metro service from Koreatown to Westwood. More than 300 Union Carpenters have been working on the project that will expand Metro’s network and add seven new stations and a reliable, high-speed connection between downtown and the Westside.
As one of LA’s busiest areas, the Westside is the region’s second-largest job center. With the Metro D Line Subway Extension project, we are closer than ever to connecting busy areas and improving travel for everyone who lives, works and plays in LA County.
The D line expansion is one of many important infrastructure projects being built in Los Angeles by Union Carpenters. As thc city prepares to host the Olympics in 2028, the WSRCC is ready to supply the Carpenter-power to build the future of Los Angeles.
