The 2024 General Election is just months away. With so much at stake, WSRCC is providing an opportunity for our members to learn about how our work and our futures are affected by the simple act of voting. WSRCC wants to ensure that our members are not only showing up to the polls this fall but showing up well informed about why their vote matters.
WSRCC is hosting Vision 2024—a state of the union for our Union, starting August 12 and running through September 30. The presentation educates our members about politics that affect our jobs and livelihoods. Members and their families will learn about The Davis-Bacon Act, how right-to-work laws were designed to weaken unions, and Carpenter Economics.
