Locals 721 and 1607 Hold Voter Registration Picnic.
Members from Locals 721 and 1607 gathered with their families and friends at the Whittier Training Center to kick off Voter Registration season.
Members were invited to bring family and friends to a picnic and register to vote. Each Local in the SWMSRCC has a goal of reaching 70% of members being registered to vote.
The picnic also provided members with a Saturday afternoon filled with great food, drink, and games.
This was a great event to get members prepared to flex their muscles at the polls in the upcoming primaries and in the November elections. The more we turn out to vote, the more we can have our voices heard at the ballot box supporting candidates who back Carpenter jobs, wages, and benefits.
