During the November Delegates Meeting, Executive Secretary-Treasurer Frank Hawk announced our Council’s new name – Western States Regional Council of Carpenters.
As Carpenters, we are no strangers to embracing change. Our Council has faced constant changes over the last few years. From leadership transitions, two mergers, and the negotiation of many new contracts, our Brotherhood has demonstrated that we are built to withstand the test of time.
We proudly stand at over 90,000 members strong. As a result, our Council needed a name that was fitting for every single member that comprises this great Union. We are now Western States Regional Council of Carpenters.
The only thing that has changed is our name. Our commitment to fighting to secure better jobs, wages, and benefits for all members remains the same.
