You often hear us talking about how desperately our country needs an Infrastructure Bill, but what exactly does that consist of?
Infrastructure is the roads, bridges, schools, energy, technology, water, airports and other public projects that are essential to our communities. A federal infrastructure bill would invest over 1 trillion in rebuilding our country. It would create millions of Union jobs for Carpenters and set the state for Union growth, which leads to bigger market share and better contracts, wages and benefits.
