What is Infrastructure?

Getting an Infrastructure Bill passed begins with the people.

You often hear us talking about how desperately our country needs an Infrastructure Bill, but what exactly does that consist of?

Infrastructure is the roads, bridges, schools, energy, technology, water, airports and other public projects that are essential to our communities. The infrastructure in this country is badly in need of repair. Investing in infrastructure would translate into millions and millions of Davis-Bacon jobs. UNION JOBS.

A federal infrastructure bill would invest over 1 trillion in rebuilding our country. It would create millions of Union jobs for Carpenters and set the state for Union growth, which leads to bigger market share and better contracts, wages and benefits.

This election, vote for Carpenter-endorsed candidates who support investing in our infrastructure.
