Women’s Auxiliary 1870 Organizes Blanket Drive for Primary Children’s Hospital

Utahn Union Carpenters collect blanket donations for local children’s hospital.

Over the last couple months, Women’s Auxiliary 1870 and Local 801 Union Carpenters have donated their resources and time to help bring a sense of comfort to the patients of Primary Children’s Hospital. Approximately 60 blankets and 30 stuffed animals were recently delivered to Primary Children’s. It is stated that every child that comes to Primary Children’s receives a blanket regardless of what they are there for.

This Salt Lake City hospital is the only full-service facility in the Intermountain area, serving patients from Utah, southeastern Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming and more. With almost 300 beds in their facility, donations like this help the facility ensure that every patient gets the best experience for the duration of their stay.

If you would like to participate in future collection drives benefiting the children of Primary Children’s Hospital, call Local 801 and get in contact with Women’s Auxiliary 1870 for more information.
