Southern California Local 714 brings holiday cheer to students of Gilbert Elementary School

Women’s Auxiliary 417 hosted the families of Gilbert Elementary for their annual Christmas Toy Giveaway at the Buena Park Carpenters Training Center. This is the 3rd year volunteers have collected hundreds of toys for students and the 5th year the WA has partnered with Santa Ana Unified School District. The mission of this toy distribution is to help Gilbert Elementary families that are either struggling with finances or homelessness, single parent households, foster families or families impacted by domestic violence. Many thanks to WA 417 for their continued efforts.

Utah Local 801 Children’s Christmas party

This weekend, Women’s Auxiliary 1870 transformed Local 801 into a scene straight out of a Dr. Seuss book, inviting Union Carpenters and their families to their annual toy drive and Christmas party. The Grinch himself was in attendance ready for photos and greeting children with sweet treats, crafts and take home goodies.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Assessment Center Toy Drop-Off

Local 909 donated toys to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Assessment Center this morning. Union Carpenters dropped off a truckload of toys to awaiting hands of at risk and foster youths. These toys will be cherished making the season bright for so many in the system. We greatly appreciate all of those that were able to donate a toy this season.
