Local 734 Lend a Helping Hand to American Legion Post 221

Carpenters from Local 743 dedicated their time and skills this weekend to continue their efforts to refurbish the Tehachapi American Legion Hall. These efforts aim to bring a new life to the overlooked community hub. The project, celebrated for its community spirit and hard work, aimed to enhance the facilities for all Legion members and visitors while granting Carpenters an opportunity to fill their CUPP.

Local 562 Give Teen Center a Makeover

Carpenters Local 562 joined forces with Councilmember Tim McOsker to make a meaningful impact in the Wilmington neighborhood. Over the weekend, dedicated volunteers generously donated their time to upgrade the local teen center. Their efforts centered on replacing worn-out foam flooring and setting up gym equipment in the athletic area, significantly enhancing the center’s functionality. Additionally, Carpenters skillfully installed new linoleum flooring, revitalizing the space and creating a more inviting environment for the community.

 

Local 714 Park Bench Replacement

Carpenters Local 714 teamed up with Councilmember Jessie Lopez at Santiago Park in Santa Ana to replace worn-out benches, ensuring a more comfortable experience for field sport spectators. More than 15 Union Carpenters answered the call for volunteers, donning their tool belts to dedicate a few hours to revitalize the beloved community park. The efforts of our Members not only improved the park’s facilitiesbut also contributed to the sense of pride among residents of Orange County.
