Dolores Huerta Endorsement Event at 1912

Recently, Dolores Huerta hosted a rally alongside Union Carpenters at Arizona Local 1912’s training center. Dolores Huerta was the headlining speaker, where she spoke out in support of Kamala Harris, endorsing her in the upcoming Presidential election. The renowned Labor Leader most known for her work with the United Farm Workers has been politically involved throughout her career working as a coordinator for the UFW. We are lucky to have an ally in Dolores Huerta, and were honored to host her endorsement event. Throughout her career, Dolores Huerta has advocated for civil rights with a major focus on the political power of the working class.

K-9 Police prop building at Local 714

Union Carpenters of Orange County held a unique CUPP event this past weekend to benefit the Garden Grove Police Department. Union Carpenters built props for the K-9 unit which will be used to train the department’s dogs to best prepare them for their time in the field. This is just one way in which we can leverage our skills to give back and benefit our communities. Discover how you can contribute by clicking here.
