Here is the Top Three of the week of June 24th.

Local 555 Wage Theft Bill Round Table discussion

This past week, Colorado Local 555 hosted a roundtable discussion at the Local, inviting victims of wage theft to share their stories. More than 100 workers were in attendance, ready to recount their experiences of wage theft in the construction industry. This event came after Colorado Gov. Polis vetoed Wage Theft Bill HB24-1008 early last month. The discussion included a panel from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, who are expected to report to Gov. Polis within the next month with solutions to address wage theft, as a follow-up to the veto decision.
