Union Carpenters of Southern California Local Union 721 volunteered at their Local foodbank, preparing, and organizing food goods for the disadvantaged. Without missing a beat, members did their part by joining their Brothers and Sisters in giving back in their communities. Local 971 Student Outreach

Reno’s Career Connections participated in the Fernley High School Career Fair. Where hundreds of students had the opportunity to learn about the incredible, debt-free, opportunities available to them through a career in the trades. Outreach opportunities like this one are essential in creating a gateway into the trades of graduating students.

 

AK Local 1281 helps Alaska Association of fire and Arson Investigators

Union Carpenters from Local 1281 are proudly lent a helping hand to the Alaska Association of fire and Arson Investigators train new recruits. This collaboration involved the construction of small steel-framed rooms and small structures to simulate real-life burn scenarios. Carpenters completed the structures at the Anchorage Training center in time for the training this past weekend.
