Washington Carpenters Help Reconstruct Burned Playground

On Saturday, 15 Washington Carpenters volunteered to help rebuild the Port Angeles Dream Playground. Five months ago, this playground was destroyed by arson and has since brought the community together to build it back stronger than it was. Our members take pride in leveraging their skills to help their community and those who need it most. Work on the park is scheduled to continue, and soon children will be able to enjoy the Port Angeles Dream Playground once again.

Volunteer Carpenters Help Transform Local Community Garden in San Diego

Local 619 Union Carpenter volunteers also spent their Saturday giving back to their community by helping to revitalize the Linda Vista Park Garden. Members and their families constructed planters, worked on the greenhouse, assisted in the relocation of soil and mulch, and helped to address any additional woodworking needs. This build represents more than just a physical transformation of the garden. It represents commitment to community pride.
