Turkey Giveaways
San Diego Local 619 Union Carpenters joined forces with Assembly member Akilah Weber to hand out free Turkeys at Cherokee Point Elementary School this past Saturday. Meanwhile in South Los Angeles, Brothers and Sister of Local 323 joined Brotherhood Crusade at Algin Sutton Park to hand out 750 Turkeys ahead of the holiday. We appreciate the efforts of our Carpenters taking time away from their days to give back to their communities.
Thanksgiving Local Hours
WSRCC Locals will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday starting Wednesday 11/27 from 12pm through Friday 11/29. Locals will be open Monday December 2nd for regular hours. Please plan accordingly and reach out to your Local during business hours if you have any additional questions.
Vacation Check Direct Deposit
The December Vacation Checks will be direct deposited today November 25th! This is for members who have provided their bank information and opted in for direct deposit. All other members will begin to receive a physical check in the upcoming weeks. The December payout covers your work hours from March – August of this year.
