SoCal GOTV Efforts
Union Carpenters from all over Los Angeles showed up this weekend to support candidates who support us. Local 213 and Local 323 to the streets this weekend to hand out flyers and talk member-to-member about the upcoming initiatives and ballot measures that will affect their communities. Local 562 Picnic
Local 562 hosted its Annual Picnic and Pin Ceremony this past Saturday at Point Fermin Park. Members and their families enjoyed a day filled with food, raffles, and fun activities. Highlights included potato sack races and a tug-of-war competition. Additionally, members were presented with pins in recognition of their years of service. Thank you to Local 562 for organizing such a great event, and congratulations once again to all the pin recipients.

Las Vegas Local 1977 named Labor Organization of the Year
Sin City Carpenters have a reason to celebrate, as this weekend the Nevada Latino Legislative Caucus honored them by naming Carpenters Local 1977 the Labor Organization of the Year at their third annual Gala and Awards Ceremony. This recognition highlights the exceptional contributions and dedication of Local 1977 to the labor movement and the community.
